Reserving your training space is extremely important with the high turnout we are experiencing. It is as easy as clicking on an event in this calendar and following the instructions.
GO GREEN
From now on, whoever is interested in car pooling, we will meet one hour before training starts at the Morrison-I-70 exit. We will meet at the parking lot across from the Conoco station which is north of I-70 and west of Highway 26.
Conditions can change in a few hours. Always bring a pair of skis that you can ski outside the arena with. If there is more than 5 inches of snow, we will free ski. After the early loading, we will have some free ski sessions. Free skiing is excellent training and we are planning to make it a fun and challenging experience.
USSA requires the same helmets for SL as for GS now. SwissAm requires them, too.
There is a locker room under downstairs near the bathrooms in the Valley lodge for those who need suit up and stash bags during training.
For safety it is our expectation that all athletes attend the full session at the Valley.
Care of the training environment is everyone's responsibility.
If you cannot fully participate at the valley your training is freeskiing at the Basin.
No one will be permitted off the hill until the lane is buffed at the end of the lane session. (this benefits you because the less we groom the better the training surface.)
The race room is in the LRC club house at the base of the #3 chair at Loveland Valley. It is adjacent to the East Parking lot at the Valley.
