It is with overwhelming sadness that I
have to share you with you the sudden passing of Hans Wolf. After driving his Porsche to
Loveland this morning with a side trip up the pass to really take some corners he was
doing what he loved almost as much as his family and native Switzerland, promoting ski
racing.
Hans had just returned early this
week from Switzerland and he was at Loveland promoting SwissAm. We all know Hans as a
passionate man who was more generous than anyone I know. It was his passion for skiing
that made SwissAm Racing the best master's ski team in the country. Helped drive Rocky
Mountain Masters to become the best master's division in the country. And most recently he
was pushing LRC toward becoming the best Jr. Racing Team in the country. The loss of Hans
is heart breaking as we all have lost a passionate promoter of ski racing, a generous
contributor of both time and money and most importantly a dear friend that challenged us
all to be better people.
Details of memorials for Hans are not
available at this time. As those come available I will pass them along.
Please keep Johnny, Lori, Gunnar and all
of Han's friends and family in your thoughts and prayers during this extremely difficult
time.
