After a
successful SwissAm grand finale in May at A-Basin, our 2004-2005 season came
to an end. I would sincerely like to thank A-Basin and Marty for a great home base and all
of
their support. I also want to thank Ski Cooper and the SwissAm Coaches, especially Ron
Emery
as head coach and wish him a speedy recovery with his broken ankle. I also want to thank
all
participating SwissAm members for your commitment to the club. Your hard work resulted in
SwissAm clinching the overall divisional Rocky Mountain title and also the overall elite
title.
Believe it or not, it is time
to plan for next season. SwissAm has implemented a lot of new
offerings for next season. We will start with a dryland program at the end of July, wax
and tune
clinics, and educational library, a new program "Race Carve for Fun", night
training at Keystone,
a Team Downhill at Cooper and a pro-price product program with big savings.
Ron Emery will continue as
our head coach. We are proud to add to our coaching staff,
Gunnar Sorensen of Steamboat Springs as our new assistant coach. Erik Klemme will also
assist Ron and Gunnar in coaching as well as Doug Briggs who is our Webmaster. |
